From: Jbfinder on 7 Apr 2008 11:12 Years ago, my older sister would sleepwalk and wind up in my bedroom. She had very long nails at the time, and would poke me in the arm or face to either wake me up or at least alert me to her presence. It was never a problem and nothing ever happened (i.e.- injury, falling, etc.) to her, however, as I'd help her run errands at times, she'd remember some of the previous night's episode. During one instance, my sister maybe thought she was in her own bedroom and going to bed, and, reaching downward, scratched my cheek with her long nails. It wasn't deep or hard, just a braise and scratch. The next day, helping her do some things out and about, she asked where the scratch came from. I made light of it and told her, to her surprise. Couldn't believe that not only was she sleepwalking, but, scratched my cheek in the process. After thinking about it, though, my sister did recall leaving the bedroom, but not entering mine. I began helping her back to her own bed after that. Got to a point that we had an unspoken game plan if she walked in her sleep. True story.
