My ASV broke last night It started squealing after about two hours use. I turned it off for about a half an hour, turned it back on, and it squealed again two hours later. Dental Appliances I am a CPAP user, and have never had a problem with it, but would like to have an easier solution for some short term travel situations (camping, sleeping on boat etc) Has anyone had any luck with any of the appliances that reposition your jaw for sleeping? Reaction to CPAP I've been on CPAP for about 1 1/2 years (Since Nov 2006). I've had a struggle with finding a mask good for me. Travel - What's the Best CPAP Device? What's the best lightweight CPAP device for travel a few weeks every year? It doesn't have to be the main device for regular use, just one that's light and can be thrown in a bag for the occasional domestic and foreign trip. CPAC and sleeping pills I am on my second week with my CPAC machine. The nights I use Ambien I sleep ok. The nights I tried to sleep without the pill I have had difficulty not sleeping until around 4:30 am in the morning. Dependence on zopiclone... and getting off the stuff. I am one of them. It is worth trying. But as I mentioned earlier, sort that apnea stuff out first or melatonin won't help you at all.
