From: BobKK47 on 25 Jul 2008 18:48 I'm having a Cerec all ceramic crown being placed on #12 next week (I'm wearing the temp now). This is a Cerec Inlab crown, where the Doc took a standard impression, not one done same day in the dentists office. Question for Docs or lab techs. Re: the most common cement(s) used for this type of crown, what is the setting time. Are we talking a few minutes, 10 minutes? IOW, how long should I wait after the crown is place before I can eat or drink. Thanks for info.
From: Amatus Cremona on 26 Jul 2008 08:18 I always tell my patients not to chew anything before they get outside, since I don't want crumbs on the floor of my office. From: Steven Fawks on 27 Jul 2008 09:23 Should have been explained or at least asked at the dental office.
