Can you distinguish the difference between anxiety and paranoia? It wasn't easy for me. For me it only helps with paranoia and general schizo symptoms, doesn't do a thing for anxiety and panic attacks. I take 600mg each night. Tony

Works wonders, but leaves me really hungry , and I need to lose some weight, so watch out for snacking before bedtime. It would work for anxiety during the day, but leave me too sleepy. I have yet to find anything as effective for anxiety as any benzo, especially Clonazepam (Klonopin), though i may be forced to get off all and any pills soon. No idea what I will do then. Give Seroquel a try, but watch for weight gain, and try not to take every day if possible.

Sorry I didn't check back here until now. By saying "general schizo symptoms" I meant paranoia as the main symptom. As far as other symptoms there are hallucinations of different types like visual (seeing things) , tactile (feeling things), audible (hearing things, usually voices). I've experienced tactile hallucinations but mostly I had paranoia. One of the things that seems very common is that it all starts around age 18. Tony

I'm doing OK. I just wish that people would stop telling me that the meds I take generally lower your lifespan. :-( Only symptom is paranoia and that isn't nearly as often as it was, not even every week and it used to be every day, sometimes many times a day. Sometimes it still acts up but not nearly like before treatment. Tony
