For the record, I've gotten through six months post-op with PSA <0.01. I'm
more than a little apprehensive about these tests since the post surgery
pathology showed one or more microscopic positive margins in my prostate. I
sure hope those PSA results continue!

Progress on incontinence seems to be on hold. I'm dry through the night but
need one pad a day to handle leakage on stress. It would be nice to be
completely continent but I can easily handle the present situation if that's
as good as its going to get. I have a friend who said his idea of a good
day is a 250 yard drive down the middle of the fairway without wetting his
pants. (Don't know if that's original with him or an old PCa joke. I'd
settle for a 250 yard drive down with middle of the fairway while wetting my
pants!)

I've seen very little recovery in erectile function but hope that it still
might happen. I'm supposed to be on my hospital recommended protocol of
50mg Viagra/day, daily use of the vacuum device and twice weekly injections
of Bimix. I have to confess that I haven't been doing the needle work
regularly but convinced myself to get with the program beginning last week.
As directed, I'm increasing the dosage with each injection until I get a
satisfactory result. The doc says they'll increase the strength of the
Bimix if I reach the upper limit without a useable erection. Dwight's
experience with Trimix vs. Bimix also gives me some hope.

Jim

Hello Jim,
Congrats on the negligible PSA.
The others may not be seeing your post, because it's dated October, so I'm
replying to call attention to your post.
Best,
J
