Saw new rheumy yesterday
It had to be a new one because I moved to a different state. Anyway he gave me the most thorough exam I've had in years. Said my scleroderma was stabilized and did blood tests and took a urine sample. I'm to see him in two months (because the weather should be better) and get a DEXA done. He ordering an echocardiog... 28 Feb 2010 23:23

Was in the hospital New Year's
Which I didn't mention in my Merry Merry response. Though the nitroglycerine they gave me worked the doctor isn't sure if it was a heart attack. I'd gone in with a feeling like someone was pressing the heel of their hand into my chest. Not real pain. She's thinking maybe it's the scleroderma acting up and invol... 15 Jan 2010 05:00

Where Is Everyone?
Long time no see or hear folks. I hope and pray that all are as well as can possibly be. Now that Spring has sprung, we'll get rid of the Winter blahs and start to bloom again. I have a question on ANA results. Normally ANA results are reported as a titer, starting with 1:40, 1:80, etc. The titers are always a multiple of 40 since they represent dilution factors. CurrentlyI am working with a SD patient that has an ANA result that is being reported in a way that I am not familiar with. ... 25 Aug 2007 15:17

Edgar Cayce's Scleroderma Treatment
Hi Everyone! I developed multiple sclerosis in 1991 and, over a two year period, gradually overcame it using an alternative treatment suggested by Edgar Cayce, a man many regard as the father of modern holistic medicine.
