From: Jason on 19 May 2007 00:25 So I'm 3 months post surgery on a completely ruptured achilles tendon repair. Today in physical therapy we got to start some new exercises that were for more weight bearing motions. My achilles POPPED with lots of pain. But it did not rupture again, luckily. After a few minutes the pain mostly went away. The therapist said that it was scar tissue popping and breaking loose and what not. It did it again later this evening while I was wearing my beautiful walking boot and moving around. How common is this? How much of this will I have to endure? I must say, the pain from that is far greater than the actual rupturing of the achilles was. Thoughts? Jason
