Which SSRI caused you the least Anorgasmia or loss of Libido? I take
Lexapro and it's kinda bothersome not being able to finish?

From: Cassandra on
Can't tell you that, since I've only ever taken Paxil and Prozac, and
had trouble with both, but I can tell you what helped me with it:
cyproheptidine. It's an old antihistimine, used now for a variety of
things having nothing to do with allergies, and it blocks the effects
of SSRIs for a short time. You just take it about an hour before you
wanna -- well, you know -- and it wears off a few hours later. Sort of
a Viagra for the SRI crowd...

Of course, since it blocks the action of the SRIs, you wouldn't want to
take it every day. And I've read that it doesn't work for everyone.
But it helped me, and it's very cheap, so it's worth giving it a try,
if the Lexapro is working for you.

Good luck.

4mg worked for me.

So did not taking serotinergic drugs, though... :-0

But no loss, since my cat was prescribed cyproheptidine for appetite
stimulation, so he's taking the rest of my prescription...

Cyproheptidine worked well for me, and I hope it works as well for you,
too.
