From: Raviteja-my dad HCV+ on 22 Jan 2008 00:39 My father was declared HCV+ and after detailed RNA testing at ranbaxy,mumbai,INDIA(Costs 15k bucks) count was declared about 1.1 lakh and Genotype 3 ? Some doctors suggests SNMC Therapy,whereas some suggests PEG-IFN Therapy. What are the differences in the therapy? For whom(patients HCV Count ,Type) these thearpies are excatly?What are the side effects of these two therapies?in Short-tem and long term?......Is there any sucessfull history of both therapies in SouthAsia,india in specific?

I was geno 3, did PEG-IFN and it was successful. I have not heard of SNMC and am interested in learning about it.
