I'm obviously blocking something very wicked that I've done in the past
to deserve this: on top of the depression, and now the thyroid
problems, I became aware that I couldn't read properly this afternoon.
The blurred vision I get before a migraine. It must be at least two
years since I've had one. So I've been trying to read the Migraleve
instructions and Paroxetine instructions to see if I can take both. As
far as I can tell, I can. So I have. But the Migraleve are about 18
months out of date. Luckily my migraines, at least in the past, haven't
been as awful as many people get, and if the Migraleve work, I avoid the
headache, and just end up with slightly slurred speech for a couple of
days. But who knows.

I had actually planned to cook something for myself today, first time
for days. But as it was eggs and bacon with lovely huge field
mushrooms, I've completely gone off the idea.

Do they have 'D.N.R.' forms in this country? Or maybe I could ask the
surgeon to slip while he's doing my thyroid and cut my head off
completely. No, silly me, I won't get an operation, they'll 'leave it
to see what happens'.

Sorry. I'm in a moaning mood.

No need to be sorry I Migraines are horrible I had a really bad one
today, luckily I was able to get back to sleep after taking some meds
and its subsided a bit.

I usually find Naramig(Naratriptin) works 90% of the time, its
prescription only.

Take care of yourself and I hope you feel better soon

I think I've mixed the two.

I'll leave quietly and turn the lights down for you.

Go to your GP, Dawn and ask him about Maxalt (or Rizatriptan to give
them their medical name). If you're one of the lucky people they work
for, they're nothing short of miraculous. I was diagnosed with
migranes a few years ago and these things are wonderful for me. They
knock down even a severe migrane in about an hour flat.

I've not heard of those one's but from what I understand any of the
*triptans work in a similar way

Yep it makes a hell of a difference getting decent medication. They are
expensive so some GP's (like my last) dont like prescribing them.
