I know I had my first two migraines when I was about 4-5 months pregnant with my second child, and went to my doctor in a major panic. Hormones were blamed. Then no more for a year till we moved house. Then they came back, and some were definitely linked to contraception. But that problem was solved when he got a mistress and left me. There's been nothing obvious that's brought them on, and, as I said, I just get an awful headache after the strange blurred vision, I've only been sick once or twice, and it doesn't last more than a few hours. So I'm very lucky. And Migraleve always does the trick, as long as I can take it in time. Future useful note: out of date Migraleve still works! Dawn

The doctor in my last practice said something to that effect - but he was prepared to prescribe them anyway if they did me any good. The practice in the area I've just moved too also seem fine with prescribing me with as many as I want. It doesn't hurt to ask - and it might hurt a lot less (head wise) if you get 'em! >Future useful note: out of date Migraleve still works! Ah yes....that's a very useful thing to know. Adhere it to your fridge door at once! :) Hope the headache got better. As a fellow sufferer, I KNOW how debilitating they can be. Gawd. The realization dawns yet again of one more way in which my body conspires against me. I sound like a wilting vegetable left in the salad tray too long! But really, apart from falling to pieces, I'm quite healthy. Honest!
