I understand exactly what you're saying. The reality of my life these days
is that the internet is my source for friends, support, social life,
pursuing my personal and political interests, shopping... it's how I do most
of my life. I can just barely remember what it felt like to get dressed and
go out to a social event. I go to medical appointments and take Mom to hers.
We get everything delivered. I need my computer - it's the door to life for
me because I have to be available to Mom 24/7.

I'm glad you're here, too, Sally -- I'm really grateful for your presence.
What caused me to feel like this? Some old self-talk creeping in. Nobody
said anything critical to me. It's all in my adorable yet oddball head <lol>

I'm glad I haven't offended you. It's good to know you understand about
regretting posts.
I, too, learned what can happen with angry posts -- several years ago. Once
in a while, usually on a political discussion board, I forget that, and oh
look out here come the flame wars. <lol>

Here I just felt self-conscious suddenly for some things I said about myself
and was hoping nobody decided to hate me because of them. Self-esteem
issues never die :-)
