From: Glenn Woodell on 27 Mar 2006 21:49 Anyone here walking on a Freedom Innovations Revolution Renegade? I finally destroyed my Pathfinder after several years of hard use. My prostetist is suggesting the Renegade now but I am wondering how well it will hold up to heavy use. Is there anyone here who can give some testimony, especially a comparison with similar feet? Glenn
From: fltc on 29 Mar 2006 02:22 Glenn, Yes. I've been on the Freedom Innovations Revolution Series Renegade for a year and a half. I have nothing but praise for the foot. It can take everything I through at it. I consider myself very active for an LBK around 210 - 220 lbs. The foot stands very well and has never given me a single problem. Other activities I like to do include climbing mountains here in Colorado (haven't yet done a 14,000+' since the accident, but soon), lifting weights including squats, jogging, and racquetball. The Renegade has performed well and gives a great shock-absorbing effect. It has a very sturdy feel to it and I'm very comfortable using it. I can't compare it to any other foot because I haven't tried any others. I will say that my prosthetist told me it was the best all-around foot on the market for amps with ultra-high activity levels. At this point, I can't disagree with. Hope this helps, Ken On Mon, 27 Mar 2006 21:49:51 -0500, Glenn Woodell <letsrig@!!cox!!.net> wrote: >Anyone here walking on a Freedom Innovations Revolution Renegade? From: Glenn Woodell on 29 Mar 2006 09:20 Great. I should be getting mine today. I definitely like the simple attachment system. The Pathfinder was a great foot but the adjustable mount made removing it rather tricky and it was very easy to round out the allen heads of the two attachment bolts. Once I get it I'll write a review here. I'll be glad to bet back on something because with the main blades delaminated, my heel is bottoming out and it looks as if I have a 6" long foot the way it rolls over the toes. Makes me tired by the days end. At least it was not a catastrophic failure. I can still walk on it. When I snapped my Flex Foot VSP's, (each only a few weeks old) they both failed catastrophically. Fortunately I had a backup each time. Glenn On Wed, 29 Mar 2006 00:22:31 -0700, fltc <no(a)no.com> wrote: >Glenn, > >Yes. From: robbie on 31 Mar 2006 12:01 Glen: I've been using their FS3000 for over 2 yrs. I'm fairly active, walking 2.5-3.0 miles several times a week. Spend lots of time on my legs. Found this foot far superior to any other I've used. No problems. Good Luck

I got my Renegade today. I like the design but I think I got too stiff of a heel. I tend to like my feet rather soft. It woud lbe different if I were running and jumping all the time but Im not. The heel is so firm that it is buckling my knee. My pros said that it will looses up a bit in a few days but that if I want a softer one he will get it for me. It is definitely lighter than my Pathfinder. More to report later.
