You in the States, Claude? - the language divides us as usual... but I enjoy tempranillo, merlot, shiraz grape varieties and blends thereof. IMO, the only good red wine is a dry one... there's some brilliant big reds coming from Chile and Argentina these days. Nicky. I usually drink Chianti or Pinot Noir, if I can find an inexpensive California pinot. Also good are most Cabernet Sauvignons, and recently I have done well with Italian Asti di Barbera and Portuguese wines, which are very inexpensive in the US. The Italian and Portuguese wines will often say "dry red table wine" on the label. Good luck, Jay
