Yes, I do make my own apple pie a few times a year. I don't use any
particular type of apple and use a Keebler graham crust. Recipe below.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
Servings: 8
Ingredients
a.. 1 Keebler� Ready Crust� Graham Pie Crust
b.. 1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
c.. 5 1/2 cups peeled and thinly sliced cooking apples
d.. 1 tablespoon lemon juice*
e.. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
f.. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
g.. 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
h.. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
i.. 1/4 teaspoon salt
j.. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
k.. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
l.. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
m.. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
n.. 1/3 cup margarine or butter
Directions
1. Brush bottom and sides of crust with egg yolk. Place on baking sheet.
Bake at 375�F for 5 minutes.
2. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice. In large bowl stir together 1/2 cup
sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
Add apples. Gently toss until coated. Spoon into crust.
3. In small bowl combine 3/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup brown
sugar. Cut in margarine or butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
4. Bake on baking sheet at 375�F about 50 minutes or until topping is golden
and filling is bubbly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
*NOTE: Omit lemon juice if apples are tart.

Thanks for the recipe.I make a similar apple pie using Keebler graham crust,
but don't use all the ingredients you do, but you have given me some ideas
for extra ingredients I might want to replace or add in my made-up recipe. I
don't use lemon juice as it would make it too the apples too tart for me.
Locally grown apples or applies imported from B.C. are in season here right
now so its a good time for me to make an applie pie. I like apple crumble
pie the best which I make occasionally.
