From: Steve Jordan on 28 Sep 2008 17:28 It appears that chiropractor Donsbach's product could be risky. See, Clement J et al., "Prostasol and Venous Thromboembolism" "CONCLUSIONS: These cases are suggestive of an association between Prostasol use and venous thromboembolic events. Physicians should be aware of the use of this agent in their patients, although it is not known whether it would be appropriate to prescribe prophylactic low-dose warfarin therapy. If possible, additional study of complementary and alternative medicine therapies for safety and efficacy are indicated." Pub Med ID 18602145. Pub Med is a service of the US National Library of Medicine. Yup, just two cases in the study. But as they wrote, "suggestive."
