And kudos to you for unwittingly reminding us that "publicly" is another Chungian "improvement" to Scripture. -- cary > > Laus Deo ! ! ! > > <>< > > http://groups.google.com/group/sci.med.cardiology/msg/1a812afc784ae683?

You're confused again (still?). Of course I know the Church in Corinth was not a person. And the members were not necessarily Gentiles, since Paul went to Jewish communities as well. Note the number of Jewish (Hebrew/Aramaic) names in his writings, starting with Stephen. But note that I never suggested a church is a person; I said Paul did not address anyone except the church (the community) in Corinth. BTW, bet you didn't know that's where the word "currant" came from. But then there are a lot of things you don't know, discernment or not. >In the Holy Spirit, Paul knew that the letter he was writing would be >made public and be distributed widely to all Christian gentiles >because GOD had called him to be an apostle to the gentiles and so he >was inspired to write accordingly. Paul never once mentioned "discernment" or "being in the Holy Spirit," let alone relying on that to give him knowledge of coming events. -- Don Kirkman donsno2(a)charter.net
