About a week ago I was under an undue amount of stress, and now I am
having lower GI symtpoms that I want to see if might be related to IBS.

It started as a pain underneath my stomach. I got really bad burning/acid
reflux for a few days. That is gone. Now however, right before I have to
go to the restroom I get a really odd, queasy feeling. I want to say
nauseous, but that's not really it. And it leavs quickly. And after I
go, I have some odd pain, bloating or discomfort. I have had a good
appetite.

Any thoughts?

Google for the Rome criteria and see your doctor. Check also with
<<www.remedyfind.com>>. It's important for an M.D. to rule out physical
defects and let him/her make the IBS diagnosis.

I'll do that, but in the meantime was wondering about the symptoms. I've
had problems like this since I was 3 or 4, so I've done the doctor route.
Diagnosis was "hyperacidic stomach" and "nervous stomach". Which is why I
wanteing others ideas.
