J/K I'd love to go back to the Lakes but fancy Jersey next year. Will have to look into that and start saving up. (((Look after yourself)))

You've caught me - I didn't read the article that thoroughly. I remember the expert saying that it was good if it encouraged people to hold a racquet then go on to play sport for real. Evil Nigel

My local kickboxing club asks people when they sign up whether they want contact or not - quite a few people, especially women, choose non- contact, and use kickboxing purely as a means to fitness. I found Bridget Jones such an engrossing film that I didn't notice the accents. I suspect that the 'Bridget Jones' concept is borderless, so accents aren't really that important. > If > you've seen how Andrew Lloyd Webber, and his co-financiers, select the > leads for their shows, you can see it's them who decide what ends up > as the performance on the stage, not the performers. I read somewhere that TV adverts are going to be limited to 12 minutes per hour. That means the Beebs saturday evening 'Lloyd Webber' ads will be in trouble! > You couldn't pin her accent down, no, but that's surely part of the > deception. I don't think RZ was right for the role. I think the film would have been better if they'd chosen an English actress with a genuine English accent. Evil Nigel |
