As you have probably heard already, Paul Newman has been reported to
be diagnosed with lung cancer. Mr. Newman has not only been an amazing
force in the movie industry with his many memorable roles, but he has
been extremely generous, giving away millions of dollars to worthy
causes.

I met a man who was working on a non-profit board for a project that
helped children. Mr . Newman was also on the board. There was a
stairway that was in need of repair that was far beyond the
organization's budget. Mr. Newman asked how much it would cost. It was
over $100,000 if memory serves me correctly.

Paul opened up his checkbook, and immediately wrote out a check.

Yesterday, a reader of my book generously overnighted his copy to Mr.
Newman. The book should arrive today. Please keep Mr. Newman in your
prayers for the highest good of all concerned.
