My younger sister sophie is almost 5 years old. She dosnt talk yet and
has only recently started walking. She bites and hits herself if she is

not content and has also started biting other people.

When she gets frustrated she makes a weird growl noise and she kicks
herslf and hits her head.

She laughs at odd things like sneezing, coughing high pitched noises!
Its hard to get her attention as she ignores you when you call her!

She grabs at everything and still puts everything in her mouth. She
dribbles. She cant feed herself and is still in nappies

She has had various brain scans and recently had fluid taken from her
spine and still no one knows what is wrong with her. It is more than
just Autism as she is low on the autism spectrum.

Please please can anyone advise me of any specialists in America or
anywhere that will be able to help. Looking after Sophie is a full time

job and without knowing what exactly is wrong with her we cant begin to

help her.

Sophie looks completely normal and is so cute. We all love her so much
and its so upsetting not being able to help her.

Without knowing what you have tried, this is pretty difficult. When
she was younger was she given services through early intervention?
Does she receive any services through the school system currently?

What have the doctors ruled out?
