From: Gloria Wolfe on 7 Aug 2008 15:43 After our recent trip "down memory lane" I have remembered something that has long been buried in time. So, I'm just gonna lay it right out on the table. That's right, no dancing this time, just laying it out for all to see (Paul, get your mind out of the gutter) ;-) Does beanie babies mean anything to anyone? Well, it should - at least for Debra, our own "be well out there" and a certain Squirrely one. Many a "tiff" occurred on the question of who had whose beanie baby, and many times I had to get in the middle. Ugly stuff, that. Grabbin' and pullin' at arms & legs (the beanie babies arms & legs, that is). I didn't know if or when it would all be over. To clear the air, so to speak, this Nanny does NOT have anyone's beanie baby in any size, shape, or form; however, I can't speak for Squirrely Jo or Debra. Nanny

Nanny I remember clearly that they went at it tooth and nail Nanny. Odd that Debra is now the Princess of Peace, when you and I remember the war of the beanie baby. Wasn't it a squirell beanie? I can't remember, but it kept getting stolen, and retrieved. You would never stoop that low to steal a beanie baby! By the way who has Chip and Dale? That's what I want to know!-fran

Nanny Nanny, Thank you both for remembering the Squirrel Beanie Baby, incident....... There was no violence that I can remember...... Just a lot of "Squirrelnapping"! You read that right! *Squirrelnapping*! I did go back under my old addy (alrhody) and found how this situation started. I merely wrote to the AMF and Squirrely Jo that during one of my shopping trips, I bought some Beanie Babies at a Hallmark store. This was a few years before she and I discussed this. I bought a Squirrel one and other ones, like the bears etc. This was before they became so famous and collectible. I bought them because I liked them, not for collecting them or for re-selling them..... And to be quite honest, as I am, really didn't know what they were at the beginning...... From there, it all began....... Back and forth, it was *my Squirrel Beanie Baby*! In fact, when I returned to AMF and the TNG, it was Squirrely Jo that greeted me......and wondering where the heck is the Squirrel Beanie Baby. To be honest with you all, between the move up to DE and the move back down here, I *should* have a box that has all the Beanie Babies and I don't know if the Squirrel one is still amongst us........ I don't know where the heck this box is to begin with...... I may not even have this box, as the moving company had lost two boxes I believe....... If I can find the box with the Beanie Baby's and *if* I have the Squirrel Beanie Baby........I just might consider sharing it with Squirrely Jo! No One Else, though!!!! Only, Squirrely Jo! I'll drink a few drinks and dance on the table with you Nanny and we'll see what the Chip and Dale's are up to......but you can not, may not have the Squirrel Beanie Baby! I will however, consider giving you one of my Angel Beanie Babies......cause you are our Nanny, and you are an Angel! And yes, I'm still the ole: Take care and be well out there! Debra As I was then, and still am now. Until I go visiting the ole Beanie Baby Heaven in the Sky! :-) If this is *the only* thing that I can be prosecuted for, by a group of my Beanie Baby peers......... Then I'd say, I've done a down right great job ........ for all these years! Take care and be well out there! Debra

That's what I want to know!-fran Fran, I sense a *conspiracy* here........ Hahaha! I'm going to have to get in touch with Scully and Muldar! And of course my favorite.......Skinner! He'll rescue me........!!!!! I'm not the Princess of Peace...... I'm the Peacekeeping Princess, for the record! :-) Chip and Dale were two fellas that we decided were from the "Chippendale's"....... The *hotties* in our day! :-) Take care and be well out there! Debra

There you have it - at least 2 witnesses concerning the beanie baby hassels between our own Squirrely and peaceful Debra ;-) Yes, you're right, Fran, it was a squirrely beanie baby and boy did they both want it! As for Chip and Dale, I don't even have a clue where they are LOL!
