Cheap ammo will foul up your pistol. If you are using any semi-automatic,
the cheap ammo messes up the recoil. Once your springs get shot, you either
buy new srpings or else you get jams. Not to mention pitting that comes from
the cheap lead. You had better be cleaning the pistol religiously and very
well.

"OmManiPadmeOmelet" <> Well, it was not _that_ cheap. I bought some bulk in
300 round with an ammo case in the same grain weight as the JHP rounds.

Attaboy! The more expensive pistols only like the best ammo (generally).

Gee, you know even less about guns and ammo then you do about
bodybuilding related topics. Gongrats, your parents must be proud "sal"

"OmManiPadmeOmelet" <> And I've now added Taurus to the brands of guns I

Taurus makes very nice weapons that are usually more affordable. That is a
good back-up gun. They make (or used to) a snub-nose 38 special without the
hammer (forgot the name) that was easy to carry around. I think they made a
..357 like that too. I like a regular revolver as a back-up for those times
when the pistol may jam.
