I am getting a bit better, i I am yet still am not using mnay of the options
on my digital cam. But I got to knowhow to handle it better, mainly, its
delays and do on, its limitations, if I try and squeeze the limitations
out of it still, wanting it to o what I want and not what IT wants, nah:).

Just went to beach again on this day off I took on the two weeks left that
try and save (had 11 left, so took one), and I was so glad I took my
cmera this time, AND that the batteries were not dead:).

Not much tot ake there -I am not interested in men or woemn in baithing
suits, and taking a pic of a kid playig in the sand nowadays can make
parents freak out, so....)...But as I went to get water to drink, brought
thecam with me to not rik it stolen, and saw the only thing exept ugly
boring flat decrepit (yet not enough to make interesting pics) buildings
was...flowers and macadam.

Initially I sat there, staring at the macadam....
A colleague of years ago died right on that spot, is it 3 or four eyars ago...
We both had gone to different jobs. In his case he started managing a
corner store, which was near where I then lied, and which allowed us to
still say hi a few tiems a week until I moved here...
He was roller blading....Stopped at the round point (macadam area with
benches to rest), and never "started" again....Massive heart attack: h
fell and hit his head and died instantly. I remember the sound of the head
hitting the pavement...Wondering now...maybe he saw me, someone he knew on
the beach, that round point being just middle of the beach, i.e. before
the sand, but where one could have a view on the beach...

Anyway....Took pics of macadam hoping that some will come out with some
'point-de-fuite' (perspective where forefront is larger and backrgound
looks like it is going in a sort of narrower funnel). If one would turn
out good, I could always add words on it: in memory of C. T...

Aound that round point are concrete seats...and behind and around those,
flower beds, but the most common flowers. Orange Iri with their leafage
never being quite interesting...Others are like cotton candy, sometimes
called that, do not know their real name. In the cotton candy flwoers, a
ton of big ..not bes, those big fat one,s what are they in English again...
Is it hornets? The biggest stinging yellow and back tflying insects
looking liek very fat bees? No thin waist on those, just big fat things.

I still only get about 3 pics on 400 that are less foggy: I shale too
much, essentially:).
But the three (sometimes none) I get on 400 are gettign better and better:)
Tose I had kept a few months ago now look completely bad to me, which is a
good sign:).

Anyway. Got home, looked at the pics on the cam screen, and just as I was
ready tio upload on pc: batteries dead. I so deplor the fact that one
needs to have battery juice be it just for a nano second to set the camn
to upload!! If ever I.d need to buy another cam and would find oen where a
smart one woudl have foudn a way to click something on the cam without
needing to turn it off and on and off, etc, toul~pload, i.e. not needing
battery juice to upload or give it thecommand to, man...I woudl buy that
one! This wya the battery can recharge as one sorts through pics on their pc.

That is about it for now. Weather at beach turned to black within 30
muinutes, which si fine because hjust bneore that it was too hot to enjoy.
I went for a duck instead of tanning, to cool down, the sun being deadly
jut before the storm. We seem to have that daily lately.

Worked on my trees: bugs were eating them so fast, they were half eaten or
the smallest ones. I coudl not finish the big one, some branches beign too
high for me, and running out of bugs-be-gone before I a out of branches to
spray:).

But will need that done VERY fast, as they were okaySaturday and today
some were so badly affected, I think some bugs got in the trunk itself by
now:(.
Bgger tree will be a problem: can not reach top:(.....

But did what I could and will get ore stuff to apply each week, as
recommended.

Hope everyoen had a good day!

Also is my parents' wedding anniversary....Happy anniversary, Dad!
Will call mom to wish her a good one later.

AND is my niece Naomi's bday too: she was born on my parent's wedding
anniversary, 2 months after my dad died, at the exact time he and mom had
said 'yes' 54 years earlier: 12:34. AND Naomi was born quite later than
expected, and at the exact exceptional weight my dad was when he was born:
13 pounds and 3/4!:)
So...Happy Bday, Naomi!!:)
