From: The Seeker on 6 Feb 2008 13:06 According to a well-respected martial arts guru, periodic feasting may provide the missing link in lasting weight control. Honestly, to my mind what the author describes goes far beyond ordinary feasting that we're all guilty of from time to time (i.e., a few too many bowls of chili during the big game) into the realm of fairly astonishing gorging and unabashed piggery. But maybe that's what distinguishes normal overeating from indulgence extreme enough to activate the body's own survival mechanisms. Anyway, as someone who has struggled for many years with highly unpredictable episodes of sudden dramatic weight gain (diagnosed by one physician as lipocemic control deficiency), I found this a very intriguing read: http://tinyurl.com/2utq5f Peace and prosperity to all, The Seeker
From: 6packer on 6 Feb 2008 21:41 this could be very true. but ironically one of the best ways to lose weight is to eat up to 6 meals a day! the trick to it is you have to eat very VEry small portions. this tricks the body into thinking you are about to eat 6 full meals when you really only eating something little. therefore your body burns off more fat...because its preparing itself for a meal.....its a little something called Speeding up Your Metabolism! Also, working the core of you body (the center of your body)...or your abs rather...is also one of the best ways to lose weight. I have a blog that shows you programs and routines that will help you greatly http://superrippedabs.blogspot.com/ I hope i was a help!
