I have been away from my family for two years due to work. Being an
adult child of an alcoholic, peace has often eluded me. In my
solitude I have come to realize ways of the Lord that I would not have
slowed down enough to see otherwise. I was blind, but now (through
solitude and meditation) I see!

Alcoholism has caused many of life's realities to hit us square in the
face. If we pay attention, each time we get hit we learn, get
stronger, get better. We often wonder when God will stop teaching us
and when we will finally have peace.

There is a book that also hits you right square in the head. It is a
good book that is written in such a way that there is no room for
misinterpretation or any degree of dispute for that matter.

Peace is available for us now. It is a choice. I believe this book
is a crash course on coming to know the Lord, our purpose, and the
foundation of peace.
