Then neurologist could not find anything wrong except that he thinks I'm dehydrated and need to exercise. Lexapro for AD? Well, I've finally given up on doxepin/sinequan. While it's helped somewhat, it never really stopped any of my PA's. Will lexapro be any better for AD? 5HTP and Theamine ...... LM? Does anyone know if these can help anxiety? Someone asked me if 100mg of 5HTP (taken with vitamin B which helps it cross the blood brain barrier) and 50mg to 100mg of Theamine is a more natural way to treat anxiety then an Antidepressant. I think I may have to stop Amitriptline... OR this drug is going to make me DIE!!! HI, I am about 11 days into taking amitriptline. I increased the dose to 50mg from 25mg, per the doctors orders about 3 days ago.
