Are > you saying you did use vicodin during tx? > TC Sorry TC, What I meant to say was I was taking Oxycontin and Oxycodone. Neither of these had tylenol in them, so I supplemented them with Ibuprophen. One was a 12 hour and the other 4 hour was for break through pain. Worked for me, my dose was upped a tad during treatment and now I'm back down to my normal dose. As far as the sinus headache I used a Nettie Pot. http://unimedprod.com/netipot_1.shtml?gclid=CIzD6774spICFQ4JPQod5wGNMQ It was under $20 at Wallmart and other drug stores it comes with 50 packets of the nasal solution of Sodium Chloride and Sodium Bicarbonate. Right now they are having a free Neti Pot offerat their website above. I am not selling just recommending something that I still use for allergy symptoms. Sara is right about the water, it is essential. I also used candied ginger (found in the spice section) for the nausea but once I had relief I spit it out. To me it gets bitter. Another tip for the burning mouth and sores is using a dry mouth toothpaste "Biotene" and when things got too bad I would suck on Mycelex tabs that my doctor wrote a script for. To help with the metal (money) taste caused from the interferon I used little "Tastycake"chocolate donuts, they helped for all my ailments. Problem is I still want more but now that I'm off treatment the weight is comming on againso I'm cutting back! This group was alot busier but harsh answers and control freaks turned many people away. So if we want to keep it going we all must try to avoid both. I hope this helps. eileen
