I have yet to meet a drug which is specific for treating PTSD (and no other problem). Buspar is for anxiety, PTSD-related or not; Zoloft is for depression, PTSD-related or not. Please, folks reading this, feel free to jump in and educate me. Has anyone in cyberspace any knowledge of a PTSD-specific medication? AKA a chemical cure for PTSD? Sounds wonderful if it exists. > Please email me for further conversations on this subject I prefer to NOT have conversations via back doors. Talk about raising one's hypervigilance rating. :/ Smile and there will be something to smile about! Nancy

I do not think I will see in my lifetime a single drug specific to the treatment of this disorder. The cure will be found by computers with artificial intelligence, if at all.Be well, stay healthy, John De

I can not afford to talk about medication in public. If you wish to talk about medication then email me. That is all I can offer you. We can use Google Chat or Yahoo Messenger. Olympiada
