From: Debs on 26 Jul 2008 01:34 Sorry if I spelled your name wrong Paul but I can't find your post anymore!! What's up with that?? Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am really sad that you have been having such a hard time for such a long, long time. I know how it feels, been there done that, didn't buy the t-shirt. ;-) It's exhausting and quality of life is really in the pits, (at least for me but I live by myself). I hope if you have the surgery it takes care of the problem because Paul, you REALLY deserve a break. I bet your whole family is effected because of your UC too. It's hard to see somebody that we love in pain and ill. I agree with MGBIO that I also have heard many, many people say that they wish they had had the surgery sooner and that they feel so so so much better right after the surgery. I hope you fit that category and kick your UC into the next millennium!! I have all my digits crossed for you. Let us know how it goes, OK? Enjoy your cruise!! I have never been on one but I hear they are awesome. :-) Take care and enjoy Paul!! Debs
From: Paul on 19 Aug 2008 10:03 Debs, I just found your post. Im not sure why you cant find my posts. Ever since my ISP in all their wisdom decided to stop providing news group service, I have been using Google Groups for posting and reading news groups. You could try it as well. All my post appears on it. I will also email this message to you. As I taper off prednisone my symptoms are starting to com back. I am scheduled for surgery October 24, 2008. I was hoping pred would have put me in a longer remission so I could cancel the surgery but now Im more convinced I will go through with it. From: Paul on 20 Aug 2008 23:20 Im not sure if they are that good but thanks anyway mgbio. I just posted another photo album of our trip. I was posting them in chronological order starting at the beginning but this time I couldnt resist jumping forward to the highlight of our trip and what I feel are the best pictures I have. It is of the ski plane landing on the glacier. Check it out at: http://www.laflammefamily.ca I recommend you view them by clicking on Slideshow at the top left of the thumbnails after entering the album 9.
