I'm actually a Nutritionist who did his masters thesis on antioxidants and cardiovascular disease. There is a case for iron and oxidation as it is a first line pro-oxidant with oxidative stress being connected with well over 200 disease processes. I just don't understand the cut, paste and run mentality.
