I'm the same way. It's sometimes hard to be like this but I just don't
think it does any good to lie or pretend. Yes, I know how to use tact and
sometimes I just walk away rather than say something. The thing is, I work
with kids and they KNOW when you're bullsh*ttng them. It's the adults in my
life that I have trouble with :)

I've only been online since '92 so I'm a relative newbie compared to you!

Actually, I met my husband online before there was public access to
the Internet. We met on the very early days of Prodigy. We are still
very happily married and it gets better and better every day.

My ex-husband spent a lot of time on Prodigy meeting women back in '92. I
met my current husband in '94 on Usenet.
