I've been an ostomate since 1972. Over many intervening years I've tried numerous appliances. All had their downside, mostly the tendency to leak after a short period of use -- a week or less. Please indicate if you guys have ileostomies or colostomies. I've never met someone with an ileostomy get that kind of wear time. The active acids in our stool just eats through appliances.
