MI5 Persecution: Brighton 24/9/98 (9980)
Brighton Day Trip - 24/Sept/1998 Certainty level: 5% On a day trip to Brighton, carrying a minidisc recorder, I managed to collect several indistinct instances of what I think were people swearing at me. Between the 0.5 and 1.5 second marks of the above recording is something that sounds like "nutter". I rec... 11 Nov 2007 08:20
MI5 Persecution: Johnny Boy (19/June/1999) (7806)
Virgin Radio-Johnny Boy (19/June/1999) Certainty level: 30% I'm not quite sure about this one, so I've given it a one in three chance of being about me. First the background.... from mid-March 1999 for some three or four months, every weekend, I bombarded Westminster MPs with faxes about the terrible, all-en... 11 Nov 2007 06:55
MI5 Persecution: Flying Eye (Mar/1999) (3458)
Jackie King from the Flying Eye 14/3/99 Certainty level: 40% In early March 1999, Capital Radio alleged they had received some emails, one of which was forwarded to me. It contained the words, "you know this bloke, he says we're trying to kill him, we should be done for attempted manslaughter!" which Chris T... 11 Nov 2007 04:40
MI5 Persecution: Neil Fox (Nov/1998) (1284)
Foxy's Showtime on Capital FM 25/11/98 7.35pm Certainty level: 100% This one, I can say with absolute certainty, is about me. It was recorded on my Sony Recording Walkman on the evening of Wednesday 25 November 1998. It doesn't mention me by name, so the objective observer might have trouble understanding wh... 11 Nov 2007 03:00
Relationships after surgery
Hello All, I was wondering how many people have had meaningful relationships with a significant other after surgery? I know there are some people here who were already married before surgery and some met people after surgery. I have not had a serious relationship since my surgery. I guess I keep running into ... 3 Nov 2007 13:13

Question: Ostomy and Crohns
When I formerly went into a flare up of my Crohns, I would have diarrhea and blood. Now that I have the ostomy, and the fact that it is retracted and my skin is always going to suffer, I see blood anyway. I am now having more liquid bms than normal, and something I ate last night only took 2 hours to pass... 19 Sep 2007 12:00
A Response to Ken Aukett's Unreasonable Allegations:
Earlier this year, I heard from numerous people complaining about the cost of the UOAA conference. Mr. Aukett may believe that $109 a night is affordable, but unfortunately that is out of reach of many ostomates. I contacted him with ideas to lower the cost of future conferences (one specific idea was put to have a... 12 Sep 2007 23:30
UOAA Spending Practices: An Investigative Report
Public records are a good thing. A look at the UOAA's 990 reveals that the UOAA isn't meeting its obligations to members, and places funding travel junkets for a few officers ahead of actual programs for ostomates. In 2006, the UOAA raised $250,000. It saved $124,000. It spent 87,000 on staff and $5,300 on posta... 11 Sep 2007 15:34
Dansac Nova 2
I've tried many ileostomy flange/bag systems during the last decade and settled on the Dansacs as the most comfortable. I've never had any trouble, ever, with allergies until just a couple of weeks ago when the skin under the circular part of the flange started going red, and now it's painful. The square part of t... 8 Sep 2007 17:51
