Knee Problem
I'm 56 and had the same symptoms which got to the point where it was too painful to walk more than a few blocks. Had an MRI, torn meniscus, arthro surgery last December, and I'm back to playing tennis 3 times a week. The surgery was no big deal. Walk in, put to sleep, surgery, wake up, walk out, ace bandage ... 9 Jul 2007 17:02
post meniscal repair concerns
I had similar surgery last December and my knee popped like this for several weeks. It eventually went away, but if I overdo my exercises or play too much tennis, it'll tend to pop until I rest up. Ankle pain - anterior impingement
For ages and ages I've had some pain in my left ankle that's not like the typical pain of a rolled ankle. I've only just found out this type of ankle pain is actually called Anterior Impingement. For the medical people, it's more or less a sort of pinching problem between my tibia/ fibula, and my talus bone. For th... 25 Jul 2007 21:39
Ankle Osteomyelitis
I had an arthroscopy in January to remove some loose bodies and scar tissue in my ankle that had accumulated since a surgery in 2000 to repair the ligaments after years of playing volleyball. The surgery went well, and I was back to my normal activities after only a few days. After a week, I developed a large hem... 12 Jun 2007 10:14
Do I Need an Orthopedic Surgeon? Or a Podiatrist?
Hello. I am a 33-year-old male. On my right foot, I have what I thought was a big callus. However, I recently saw my dermatologist, and he said that part of what I have is a callus and that the rest is a cyst. He recommended that I see an orthopedic surgeon. I asked whether I should see a podiatrist instead. T... 13 Jun 2007 01:01
Scaphoid non-union
Hi, I broke right hand scaphoid in April, as per doctor it was minimal displacement and we decided to put cast (including thumb) for 6 weeks, but that didn't help and have to put cast for 3 more weeks. As of today (after almost 10 weeks), it still didn't heal completely, though there is bit of improvement. I don... 12 Jun 2007 10:14

Scar Tissue POP?
So I'm 3 months post surgery on a completely ruptured achilles tendon repair. Today in physical therapy we got to start some new exercises that were for more weight bearing motions. My achilles POPPED with lots of pain. But it did not rupture again, luckily. After a few minutes the pain mostly went away. The th... 19 May 2007 00:50
