From: alt on 22 Nov 2006 16:28 Hi everyone. I have a diabetic wife who has asked me to reset her OneTouch UltraSmart blood test device. I am at a complete loss as to what combination to perform on the device to get it to factory reset.. I've read the manuals, checked the forums and gone onto lifescan's website, but can't kind any mention on how to reset the device to it's default settings. The reason? The device, for whatever reason has reset to 2010, and on changing the date, means that any new test results don't show up in the logbook (you have to scroll for like 20 minutes to find them.) Thanks in advance for any help you can give!! Paul.

That only gives me the setup to select time/date etc. What I want is to completely reset the device back to it's defaults! Thanks!

You can reach other setup options when you went through the language and time/date menu. In order to erase stored readings you have to use the software. Anja

If you do not have the literature that came with it, go to a store that sells them and find the toll-free support phone number on the box. If that doesn't work, google for "lifescan ultrasmart" -- Wes Groleau Armchair Activism: http://www.breakthechain.org/armchair.html |
