From: louisemoffatt on 19 Mar 2006 06:20 Hey all, I have had a ice-hot stinging pain in the skin over my left hand. It feels tight, icey but hot, and it stings like it has been burnt. Does anyone else have any experience with this? The skin doesn't change colour or anything, and there is no joint/muscle pain, just the skin pain. Hope someone can shed some light on this, L
From: Carol J on 19 Mar 2006 11:53 I do have that sort of sensation ocassionally but it's in the side of my right upper arm...............it's the weirdest feeling but it does go away after awhile usually...............but I'll put a heating pad on it if it gets really uncomfortable and that makes it feel better for me. I'm always so durn cold, I've often wondered if that would trigger that feeling. Hopefully someone will come along with a solution, Louise............ From: DeeDee on 19 Mar 2006 13:04 This type of pain is what I call my fibro pain. It is stinging and burning under the skin. I get it on my hands and also shoulder skin. It hits my thighs also. The only thing that has helped it is Ultram. Vicoden only helps my muscle pain. DD
