From: Califchief on 24 Sep 2008 23:09 Obesity could lower male fertility Monday, September 22, 2008 Packing on too many pounds may cut down a man's chances of becoming a father. Researchers at Penn State's College of Medicine studied a small group of men and found that obese men were less likely to have fathered a child. Obese men were still less likely to become a father even if the men were otherwise healthy. Scientists say too much body fat can cause a man's body to convert testosterone into estrogen, which lowers his fertility. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12
