the new car, that is. It's been 19 years since we bought a brand new car
(and that one lasted 18.5 years!), so we're happy about this one! We plan to
run this one into the ground, too, and will buy only used vehicles for any
replacement 2nd cars we get.

It's acutally smaller than it looks, while having a lot of cargo room.
Somehow that square hatchback look appears bigger than it is.

It will be our primary car all around, but as Mike drives much more than I,
it will be more his for now. It's rated at 35 mpg/highway, which means the
way we drive it'll probably be more like 38-40. Even with our recent slowing
down we've not gotten better than 28 in the Caravan - though it is much
easier for camping trips!

The Caravan will continue to be our roomier option as well as the one I can
drive on gimpy hand days, as the Fit is a manual transmission.

maybe that's why Puddin' Cat seems rather unimpressed so far. I woke up from
my nap on the couch today because Puddin' was sleeping on my neck & shoulder
in a way that was causing great pain.
