i was most interested in the hospital, having been a social worker at
the "old" sharp memorial's maternity unit. i wish those parents and
babies all the best.

You wouldn't recognize the area today.

Sharp's Hospital has completely changed.

Sharp's Children's Hospital.

Sharp's Women's Hospital and Birthing Center.

Ronald McDonald's House.

And construction is still going on overlooking I-805.

But Sharp's Grossmont is on the verge of losing Medicare
and Medi-Cal payments - about 75% of its income.
They had 3 "unnecessary" deaths prior to the warning, plus
1 more this summer. Nurses not knowing CPR, administering
wrong drugs, negligent care of patients, etc. etc. etc.


.... If you want a committed spouse, look in a mental hospital.
