It seems to me I found this kind of information before but I'm striking out. Any information appreciated, just a ballpark figure, I know they'll vary from place to place and many other factors, but any idea is useful. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response, excellent. Do you have any idea by chance, based on other procedures perhaps, what kind of percentage increase the last ten years represents?

Colonoscopies seem to have doubled in that same time period, so I wouldn't be surprised if a Nissen ran $25,000-$30,000 now. But I'm now 10+ years post-op, and have not had a single incident of reflux. It was money well spent. How much is the quote you have?

I know that it can be had for a third that price, or could back then. So at current rates, around 17,000 USD. If it's risen to say 13K Euros in the past three years, then say 20K USD equivilant. Part of it is, back in 2005, that 11,000 EU was only 13,000 USD. Not anymore. Thanks for the testimonial also, good to hear. |
