Do you know if insurance companies still require time on the meds before they will pay for fundo surgery?

I put the surgery off for over a year trying medications, because I was afraid I'd have a lot of trouble swallowing post-op since I was already having a lot of trouble, and the Nissen can make it worse. Turns out, my esophagus was so irritated that after the procedure, it was actually much easier for food to go down because it wasn't being constantly washed in acid anymore. |
