Hi Im new here.
Just been diagnosed with IBS ater about 10 years of not knowing what
the heck was wrong with me and being too embarrassed to try to find
out.

It has become quite depilitating. But I had a colonoscopy and stool
tests and no abnormalities except that I can relate the symptoms of
IBS - mine are watery frequent stools with urgency that comes on so
suddenly. I cant relate it to food per say so I think its stress.

Any tips?
Im trying peppermint capsules and aloe vera juice.

Cheers
J

Hi
I suffer with the same problem for 15 years now, It took me a long
time to accept the problem, this then made it difficult to go out and
live a life. Once i accepted the problem it was easier to handle,
although the syptoms continued. I found taking Loperamide everyday
allows me to go out and do everyday things without the worry.

Hope this helps

Ian

I don't know that we should paint with such a broad brush, i.e. anti-
diarrheals do work, but sometimes the body is flushing out a toxin or
pathogen... in these cases, you don't want to interrupt the
evacuation, lest the bugs fester and turn into an even bigger problem
