Greetings from the Big Apple! A charming group of people will be
meeting Saturday at 2pm in Manhattan as part of our new Young Widows
Group. We're looking for men and women who have been widowed (it
doesn't matter for how long), and who would like to start meeting other
people for fun and good times. We've been posting on Craigslist in New
York City, but we think it would be a good idea to put the message up
here too.

We are looking to get together with other widows or widowers in
Manhattan, maybe for lunches or brunches, for companionship, to
exchange coping strategies and discuss being widowed in NYC. There are,
of course, many bereavement groups in the city but we had hoped to
organize some more informal gatherings and perhaps some activities. If
anyone is interested, email me and I'll try to set something up.
