From: Killer on 6 Aug 2008 06:43 "Bob Volkmer" Bob, I'm 66 going on 67 in Dec but I do push myself to the MAX BUUUUT use the right form! If you do it right you can do for ever. Today I took off a little weight because I didn't want to be to sore tomorrow and I just didn't feel good. I'm a diabetic and I have good days and bad day, most are very good and I'm very happy with my life. I some how let my sugar get out of control a few days ago and I have felt very bad for three days but as of this afternoon I am feeling a lot better and should feel a lot better tomorrow. I'll get on the bike and run my heart rate up to 115-139 and keep it there for the first 30 minutes. If it's raining I'll use my oil trainer here in the house but do the same thing. When I lift the most I can get my heart up to is about 94 but as long as it's over 82 I'm OK, my morning rate is 35. Bob, don't hold back, just be sure you do it right. That's the main thing.
