Please note that the new 911 emergency telephone
number has been changed because it seems nobody
could remember it.

On Aug. 1, the change went into effect because the Bush administration
felt there would be considerable savings by
ousourcing all emergency calls through New Delhi, India,

The previous phone number was 91-84-877-30-49 (Ext
5417) but, after tons of complaints, has been changed to
91-84-877-30-48 (Ext. 811).

Extension 911 was unavailable.

Please be patient. Calls will be answered in the order in
which they are received. Make sure you speak LOUDLY
and CLEARLY.

Have your validation number ready or there may be
a lengthy delay.
<
If you do not understand the person who answers the
call, simply ask him/her to speak slower. If he/she gives
you any static, demand to speak to a supervisor.
<
Do not call between noon and 1 p.m. (Asia time) because
everyone is at lunch.
