i have no idea what makes them special, i believe the only criteria
for treating tmj is willingness to accept huge amounts of money for
providing 15 minutes of time. And i got my NTI from Dr. Boyd, whom i
visited three times without actually receiving an exam, and after not
making any progress He decided not to return my emails. And i have yet
to crosspost, so im not sure how do to that. thanks

I see that you were able to find a way to take your concerns to smd.
Great! Best of luck to you.

jerm, back on 4/24/08, you asked this question. (I clipped the rest.)

Do you still have the same question at this point?

Speaking of "confusion"... what does "tmj" mean as you used it (here)
and what do you mean by "...who will tell me i have tmj and take all of
my money?"

I've cross-posted this to smd where the topic has been actively
discussed for a few weeks now.

No, im pretty confident that ive got a tm problem. The problem I was
having was getting a real diagnosis. I had visited
4 "orofacial pain specialists" who gave me an exam and despite the
symptoms I was and am dealing with, tried to convince me
I had no problem. And another "specialist" had used his JVA to
justify his plan of me paying him 5000 dollars to "fix" my problems.
So, i was faced with those 2 options. But at this point ive beeb
wearing the NTI full time for a few days and seeing improvement
already.

Okay... I asked you what you meant by "tmj" as you used it. You didn't
answer my question. Instead, you went on to tell me that you're pretty
confident that you have a "tm problem".

With this confidence that you have, *please* explain to us (the readers)
what you understand that to mean.
