From: Linda on 17 Nov 2005 21:09 About a month ago my 12 year old son came across a little cat, one of those crazy looking mixes of reds and blacks and browns with stripes and spots. She was about 6 months old. Last night, in the kitchen, I heard a loud thud. She must have fallen off of something. I called my son, he held her and cried over her for a long time. We buried her today. My son has come to the conclusion, because of the way she just came to him like she belonged to him, that God sent her to him to take care of and love till her time came. So she wouldn't be alone and out in the cold and snow, or abused by someone.. He loved her and took care of her, she slept with him. He misses her. He loves all of our cats, but she was his special one. I hope he finds another soon.
From: CHARLOTTE MOORE on 17 Nov 2005 22:57 I'm sorry to hear this sad news, we just don't understand these things, but God has a reason for everything. I hope that your son will be o.k., it's been two months since the death of my "son" Teaspoon, my beloved Poodle, and I'm getting better, but my heart will never feel the same, a huge void there. But I feel his presence, from time to time. I do believe that our pets go back to Heaven, because that is where they are sent from. SMILE :-)) JESUS LOVES YOU!

Your son seems to have a marvelous attitude about it, but I know he must be hurting. Every loss leaves a void in our heart. -- Wayne Boatwright *?* _____________________________________________ A chicken in every pot is a *LOT* of chicken!

They always have a very large selection (everything from Russian blues to tabbies to gingers to Siamese, etc.) and see if he can't find one he likes. There are so many that need a loving home....

I'm sure he is still hurting, even though he does have a very good perspective. I hope Tuchin will send your son another cat to love very soon. There are so many who need it.
