Just got back from a month on the beach - New Brunswick Canada. It's probably the most relaxing vacation I can remember. There is nothing more calming than a nice long walk on the beach at sunset...that will replace the funny pills. have a good one.

PEI is nice, but water is freezing cold. Nova Scotia is charming but lack of sandy beaches. I used to go to southern Maine (Ogunquit, Kennebunkport), and/or Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, etc... almost every year for a long time. I don't have the money, time, convenient transport, or freedom to go this year or in foreseeable future. I think i just terribly miss being near water. 40 years of cottage life will spoil you rotten. A crisp clear lake swim at sunset or first thing in the morning waking up. Good god. Can't beat it. I think I may join a long distance open water outdoor swim club next summer, if I can. |
