The site is in the UK and it looks interesting. I can post you a site in the
USA for the same purpose: http://www.amputeesandfriends.com/ Amputees and
Friends Meeting in August 16 and 17, 2008

I never understood this...
Why would I as a disabled T4 Paraplegic join a disabled dating site?
Why would I be looking for someone disabled?
Sites like www.matchdoctor.com are free and have many many times more
traffic.
I met my current girlfriend on there 5 or 6 years ago. Being stuck in a
wheelchair is no block to joining any big dating site. And it doesent stop
you getting to know some interesting fit young women either! (or the other
way around if you are female) (or another bloke if thats what floats your
boat!)
Surely its better to have at least one non disabled person around to do
stuff ike swapping light bulbs alone!

My self I see allot of the events as a learning experience and not a dating
service. I learned from others and with that learning it has helped me with
life. I am a R/B/K amputee and I use my prosthesis 50 % of the time and my
wheelchair the other 50% so I am always learning from others.
When it comes to finding a girlfriend or boyfriend I believe it only matters
to that person who is looking and what makes them happy. My girl friend is
not disabled but if she was I figure we could find a way to replace a light
bulb.
